I find it laughable and irksome that so many people are talking about Jesus on facebook 

ex. Actual quotes:

1. “remember, Jesus is the reason for the season”

2. “My Savior was born today & has blessed me abundantly”

1. Before Christianity ever slapped its name on December 25th, a pagan festival took place on that very date in order to celebrate the winter solstice (which just so happens to fall on December 25th). Christmas has, in turn, adopted many of the traditions from this festival. Paganism is the reason for the damn season, or if you want to get secular about it, then the solstice is the reason for the season.

2. Jesus’ birthdate is unknown. His birth YEAR is unknown. If you’re going to be such a “good Christian”, then you may want to brush up on your facts.

The pathetic thing is that it took about 10 minutes of research to debunk this religious bullshit.
